Hampi Auto-Rickshaw Itinerary (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Morning (Focus on Central Hampi): 10:00 AM: Start at Virupaksha Temple. (This is the heart of the Hampi Bazaar area, easy to find an auto-rickshaw.) 11:00 AM (Approx.): Kadalekalu Ganesha & Sasvekalu Ganesha (These are close together on Hemakuta Hill, auto access is relatively easy.) 11:45 AM (Approx.): Krishna Temple, Badavilinga, Ugra Narasimha (These are all within a short auto-rickshaw ride of each other.) 12:45 PM (Approx.): Underground Shiva Temple & Mint Area (These locations are also relatively close to each other. The underground shiva temple requires a short walk down some steps, but the auto can take you to the entrance.) 1:30 PM (Approx.): Zanana Enclosure (Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Watch Tower) (This is a larger complex, and the auto can drop you at the entrance.) 2:30 PM: Lunch Break (1 hour at Food Point Restaurant or similar). Make sure you agree with your driver where to meet you after lunch. Afternoon (Royal Enclosure & Vithala Area): 3:30 PM: Hazara Rama Temple, Royal Enclosure (Block Steps, Stepped Water Tank, Mahanavami Dibba), Queen's Bath, Kamalapur Museum (These are all in the Royal Centre, and an auto-rickshaw is ideal for moving between them.) 5:00 PM: Vithala Temple (Stone Chariot, Musical Pillars, King's Balance) (This is a bit further away, so factor in travel time. This area is fairly large, and the auto can drop you at the main entrance.) 6:00 PM: Hema Kuta Hill Sunset Point (This is back towards the Virupaksha Temple area. The auto can get you close, but there might be a short walk uphill.) 7:00 PM: Drop-off at your homestay.
